Trip to the zoo

Today we decided to get away for a while and take the kids to the zoo. Every time we go, they're able to make it a little farther before they start getting tired, and this time they lasted all the way through the Africa exhibit and didn't start getting tired until we got to the monkey house. Hannah did perk up when we got to the snake house, though.

As always, the girls' favorite parts of the trip were the train ride, which I somehow ended up not getting a picture of, and the park area, which I also somehow ended up not getting a picture of. As much fun as the kids had on our zoo day today, I think it was actually Greg who enjoyed it the most. Usually when he goes to the zoo, it's in 90-plus degree weather. This was a real treat for him, and it was a real treat for us to have him there with us!
